"Has Anyone Confirmed the CPA Exam Testing Windows for 2024 Yet?"

Hey everyone!

Trying to plan my study schedule for next year but can't find a solid answer on the CPA exam testing windows 2024.

AICPA's site is kinda vague rn—anyone got the official dates or a reliable source?

Also, how early do y'all recommend booking? Don’t wanna miss my preferred slot.

Thanks in advance!

(Ps. Sorry if this has been asked already—searched but threads were outdated.)
Hey! I was in the same boat last week. AICPA hasn’t dropped the official CPA exam testing windows 2024 yet, but NASBA’s site usually updates first.

I’d bookmark their page and check every few days. For booking, I’d say grab your slot ASAP once they’re live—spots fill up fast, especially in busy areas.

Pro tip: Follow AICPA on Twitter. They sometimes announce dates there before the site updates.
omg the struggle is real! AICPA’s site is so slow with updates.

For 2024, I heard rumors it’ll be similar to 2023—Q1 Jan-Mar, Q2 Apr-Jun, etc. But nothing confirmed.

I used CPA Exam Guy’s blog last year for updates. He’s usually on top of it. Also, Prometric opens bookings like 6 months early, so set a reminder!
The AICPA usually releases the CPA exam testing windows 2024 around August/September. Until then, it’s all speculation.

I’d recommend signing up for NASBA’s newsletter—they send alerts when dates drop.

For booking, don’t wait longer than a month after dates are live. I made that mistake once and had to drive 2 hours for my test. Never again lol.
Not sure about 2024 yet, but here’s what I did last year:

- Checked NASBA’s Twitter (they’re faster than the site)
- Joined a CPA Facebook group—people post updates ASAP
- Booked my slot the day dates were released

The CPA exam testing windows 2024 will probably follow the same pattern, but yeah, AICPA takes forever to confirm.
Thanks everyone! This is super helpful.

I’ll keep an eye on NASBA’s site and Twitter like y’all suggested. Didn’t even think about Facebook groups—just joined a couple.

Quick follow-up: Anyone know if the CPA exam testing windows 2024 might have more dates than usual? Heard some chatter about extra slots but not sure if it’s legit.

Also, big thanks for the booking tips. Definitely don’t wanna end up with a 6 AM exam lol.
Ugh, AICPA’s vagueness is the worst.

For now, assume the CPA exam testing windows 2024 will mirror past years. I’d start prepping based on that and adjust if needed.

Also, use Prometric’s seat availability tool once dates drop. It shows real-time openings so you can snag a good spot.

Booking 4-5 months early is safe. Any later and you’re risking a bad time slot or location.
Hey! I emailed NASBA last week about CPA exam testing windows 2024, and they said official dates should drop by late September.

Until then, I’m using Becker’s timeline as a placeholder—their predictions are usually close.

For booking, I’d say 3-4 months early is the sweet spot. Any earlier and you might not be ready, any later and you’re stuck with 8 AM slots.
