"Why Does Instagram Say 'We Limit Activities, Try Again Later' When Following People?"

Hey everyone,

So, I’ve been trying to follow some new accounts on Instagram, and I keep getting this message: *"we limit activities try again later instagram for following"*. Like, what’s up with that?

I’m not even spamming or anything, just following a few people here and there. Is it because I followed too many too quickly? Or is it some kinda glitch?

Also, does anyone know how long this “limit” lasts? It’s kinda annoying, ngl.

Would love to hear if others have faced this and how you dealt with it. Thanks!

P.S. Sorry for any typos, typing this in a rush lol.
Yeah, I’ve had the same issue before! Instagram has this thing where they limit how many people you can follow in a short time. It’s to stop bots and spam accounts.

If you’re getting the "we limit activities try again later instagram for following" message, it’s probably because you followed too many people too fast. Try waiting a few hours or even a day, and it should reset.

Also, I’ve heard using tools like Jarvee or Combin can help manage your follows more smoothly, but be careful not to overdo it. Instagram’s pretty strict with third-party apps.
ugh, instagram’s limits are so annoying lol. i got the "we limit activities try again later instagram for following" thing last week.

it’s def cuz u followed too many ppl too quick. i usually stick to like 10-15 follows per hour max, and i’ve never hit the limit since.

the limit usually lasts 24 hours, but sometimes it’s shorter. just chill for a bit and try again later.
Hey! So, Instagram has these activity limits to prevent spammy behavior. The "we limit activities try again later instagram for following" message pops up when you exceed their follow/unfollow thresholds.

From my experience, the limit lasts anywhere from a few hours to 24 hours. To avoid it, try spacing out your follows—maybe 10-15 per hour max.

If you’re looking for a tool to help, I’ve used Follow Liker in the past, but honestly, manual following is safer. Instagram’s algorithm is super sensitive to automation.
lol i feel u, instagram’s limits are so random sometimes. i got the "we limit activities try again later instagram for following" message last month, and i wasn’t even following that many ppl.

turns out, it’s not just about how many u follow but also how quickly. i’d say wait a day, and it’ll prob reset.

also, if u wanna avoid this in the future, try using a tool like SocialPilot. it helps schedule follows and keeps things within instagram’s limits.
This is super common, don’t worry! Instagram’s "we limit activities try again later instagram for following" message is their way of controlling follow/unfollow spam.

The limit usually lasts 24 hours, but it can vary. To avoid it, try following fewer people at a time—maybe 10-15 per hour.

If you’re into tools, I’ve heard good things about Hootsuite for managing follows, but honestly, manual is the way to go. Instagram’s algorithm is super strict with automation.
Thanks for all the replies, everyone! Super helpful to know it’s not just me lol. I waited like 12 hours, and the "we limit activities try again later instagram for following" message went away.

I tried following fewer people at a time, and it seems to be working so far. I’ll check out some of the tools you guys mentioned, but I’ll probably stick to manual for now.

Quick question though—does anyone know if liking too many posts can trigger a similar limit? Just wanna avoid hitting another block. Thanks again!
omg same!! i got the "we limit activities try again later instagram for following" message last week, and i was so confused.

it’s def cuz u followed too many ppl too fast. i’d say wait like 12-24 hours, and it should go away.

also, i’ve heard using tools like Buffer can help, but tbh, i just stick to manual follows now. instagram’s limits are so random, it’s not worth risking it.
