Hey, I’ve been using a shopify residential IP for a few weeks now, and it’s been working pretty well. My store was getting hit with a ton of bot traffic, and it was driving me crazy.
Since switching, the bot traffic has dropped significantly, and my site feels more secure. I haven’t noticed any speed issues either, so that’s a plus.
If you’re dealing with similar problems, I’d say it’s worth a try. Just make sure you pick a good provider—some of them can be hit or miss.
