Can someone explain what is data aggregation in simple terms? or What is data aggregation and why is

I tried PivotTables in Excel like some of you suggested, and it’s way less scary than I thought.

Quick follow-up: How do you know *what* to aggregate? Like, do you just pick random stuff or is there a strategy?
