Cypress vs Selenium: Which One Should You Choose for Your Test Automation Needs? Alternatively: Cypre

Cypress vs Selenium is like iPhone vs Android. One’s polished but locked down, the other’s messy but flexible.

If you’re a solo dev or small team, Cypress. Big org? Selenium.

Also, check out Applitools for visual testing—works with both!
Switched to Cypress 6 months ago and my test runtime dropped by 60%. No joke.

But yeah, the browser support is rough. We still keep Selenium around for Firefox/Edge cases.

If you’re starting fresh, Cypress. If you’ve got legacy stuff, stick with Selenium.
