"IG banned me out of nowhere—any fixes or reasons?"
yo wtf?? ig banned my account last night and i didn’t even do anything wrong?? no warning, no explanation, just *poof* gone.
anyone else dealing with this rn? or know why it happens? i’ve seen ppl say it’s bots or mass reports but like… how do i get it back??
pls help a girl out 😭 i had all my pics and dms there ffs.
also—how long does ig banned usually last? or is it perm?? ughhh.
ugh that sucks! ig banned my cousin’s account last month too—turned out someone mass-reported her for “spam” when she was just posting memes.
try submitting an appeal through instagram’s help center. it’s kinda hidden but google “ig banned appeal form” and you’ll find it.
also, check if you got an email from ig? sometimes they send a reason (but not always lol). hope it’s just a temp ban!

i filled out the appeal form twice and got nothing back. then i tweeted @instagram and they actually replied after a week. worth a shot if ur desperate.
temp bans usually last 24-48 hrs but if it’s perm… rip. backup ur stuff next time tho 😅
omg the SAME thing just happened to me yesterday! ig banned me and i was freaking out.
i found this site called “instaappeal” (google it) that helps draft appeals—idk if it works but ppl swear by it. also, try logging in on a browser instead of the app. sometimes it shows the reason there.

ig banned accounts are usually from bots or false reports. it’s so annoying!
if u didn’t get an email, try this:
- go to settings > help > report a problem
- say “my account was disabled by mistake”
it might take a few days but they usually reply. if it’s temp, it’ll come back in a week max.

lol ig banned me last year for using a third-party app (oops). if u used anything like followers apps or auto-likers, that’s probs why.
delete the app, change ur password, and appeal. if it’s ur first time, they’ll prob unban u.
also, check ur email spam folder! ig sometimes sends stuff there.
ig banned my art account once for “nudity” when i posted a painting of a sunset like ???
anyway, i spammed their support form every day for a week and got it back. be persistent! also, try contacting fb support if u have a linked ad account—they respond faster.
