Does Brave Browser Change My IP Address When I Use It?

Hey everyone!

I’ve been using Brave Browser for a while now, and I’m curious—does brave browser change my ip address when I use it? I know it’s great for privacy, but I’m not entirely sure how it handles my IP.

From what I’ve read, Brave does block ads and trackers, which helps keep your browsing habits private, but it doesn’t change your IP address by default.

If you really want to mask your IP, you’d probably need to use a VPN alongside it.

Has anyone else looked into this or has experience with Brave in this regard? Would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks! 😊
I’ve looked into this as well. So, does brave browser change my ip address? The answer is no, it doesn’t. It’s more about privacy through blocking ads and trackers. Using a VPN alongside it can give you that extra layer of anonymity.
Thanks for bringing this up! I was unsure about it too. Does brave browser change my ip address? Now I know it doesn’t, but using a VPN is a smart move if you want to stay anonymous while browsing.
I had the same question! Does brave browser change my ip address? Nope, it doesn’t change your IP by itself. It’s best to combine it with a VPN to really keep your browsing private.
Hey! I’ve been using Brave for a while too, and you’re right! Does brave browser change my ip address? Not by default. It focuses more on blocking ads and trackers. If you want to mask your IP, using a VPN is definitely the way to go!
Thanks for the responses, everyone! I really appreciate it. I’ll definitely consider using a VPN with Brave for better privacy. If I have any more questions about how does brave handle my ip, I’ll ask! 😊
Totally get the confusion! Does brave browser change my ip address? No, it doesn’t. It’s great for privacy, but for full IP masking, I’d recommend pairing it with a VPN for extra security.
