"Hey guys, is the proxyswitch extension chrome still doing its job well these days?

I’ve been using it for a while to flip between proxies, but lately it feels a bit... glitchy? Sometimes it just doesn’t switch, or the settings reset outta nowhere.

Anyone else having issues or is it just me?

Also, are there better alternatives now, or is proxyswitch extension chrome still the go-to for quick proxy swaps?

Would love to hear your experiences—especially if you’ve found fixes or workarounds.

Thanks in advance!"

*(P.S. Sorry if this has been asked before—tried searching but couldn’t find recent threads.)*
Yeah, I’ve noticed the proxyswitch extension chrome acting up lately too. Sometimes it just refuses to switch proxies, and I have to restart Chrome to get it working again. Super annoying.

If you’re looking for alternatives, check out FoxyProxy. It’s way more stable and has better customization. Also, Proxy SwitchyOmega is another solid choice—way more features than proxyswitch.

Hope that helps!
Proxyswitch extension chrome has been hit or miss for me. Works fine most days, but yeah, the random resets are a pain.

Try clearing your cache or reinstalling it. Sometimes that fixes the glitches.

If you wanna switch, SmartProxy is worth a look. Super easy to use and way more reliable.
Honestly, I ditched proxyswitch extension chrome months ago. It’s just too buggy now.

Switched to Proxy Helper and never looked back. Super lightweight and never crashes. Plus, it’s got a one-click toggle, which is clutch for quick swaps.
I still use proxyswitch extension chrome, but yeah, it’s gotten weird lately. The settings reset thing happens to me too—super frustrating.

A temp fix? Export your settings and re-import them when it glitches. Not ideal, but it works.

For alternatives, check out TunnelBear’s extension. Not exactly the same, but great for quick proxy flips.
Proxyswitch extension chrome was my go-to for years, but lately it’s been a mess. Switches randomly, settings vanish—just unreliable.

Moved to Windscribe’s proxy tool, and it’s been smooth sailing. Plus, it’s got a free tier if you wanna test it.
Anyone else notice proxyswitch extension chrome slows down Chrome sometimes? Like, it’s not just the switching—it feels like it’s hogging resources.

I’ve been using Hola VPN’s extension as a backup. Not perfect, but at least it’s consistent.
Wow, thanks for all the suggestions, guys! Didn’t realize so many people were having issues with proxyswitch extension chrome too.

Gonna give FoxyProxy and Proxy SwitchyOmega a shot—seems like they’re the top recs here.

Quick question though: anyone know if these alternatives handle bulk proxy lists as well as proxyswitch did? That was my favorite feature.

Appreciate the help!
Proxyswitch extension chrome is still decent for me, but I had to tweak some settings to stop the random resets.

Go to the advanced settings and disable auto-update. Weirdly, that fixed most of my issues.

If you want something newer, check out ProxyMaster. Way more options and way less buggy.
Yeah, proxyswitch extension chrome has been acting up for me too. The devs haven’t updated it in ages, so I’m not surprised.

Try switching to VPNs instead—NordVPN’s extension is solid for proxy-like stuff.
