"Does Twitch delete your videos automatically, or do they stay forever?"
Hey guys, quick question cuz I’m confused af.
I’ve heard mixed things—does Twitch delete your videos after a while? Like, if I’m just a regular streamer, not a partner, do my VODs just vanish after 14 days or something?
I swear some of my old streams are gone, but others are still up. Is there a setting I’m missing, or does Twitch delete your videos based on some weird rule?
Also, does being affiliate change anything? Or is it the same for everyone?

Yeah, Twitch does delete your videos automatically if you're not a partner or don't have certain settings enabled. For regular streamers, VODs only last 14 days by default.
But if you're an Affiliate or Partner, you can extend it to 60 days in your settings.
Pro tip: Export your VODs to YouTube or use a tool like Twitch Leecher to save them locally. Otherwise, they’re gone for good.

Highlight the important parts or download them. There’s no magic setting that keeps them forever.
