Sooo, is it just me or is anyone else getting that annoying "facebook says session expired" error today? Like, I was just scrolling through my feed, and BAM! Logged out. Tried logging back in, and it keeps saying "session expired." Ugh, so frustrating!
I’ve tried clearing cookies, restarting my phone, even switching browsers... nada. Anyone figured out a fix yet? Or is this just Facebook being Facebook again?
Also, is it happening on the app or just desktop? For me, it’s both. Like, c’mon Zuck, get it together!
Let me know if y’all have any hacks or if we’re all just stuck waiting for them to fix it.

Ugh, same here! I’ve been getting the "facebook says session expired" error all day. Tried everything—clearing cache, restarting my laptop, even reinstalled the app. Nothing worked.
But I found this site called DownDetector (downdetector.com) and it shows that a ton of people are reporting the same issue. So it’s definitely not just you. Looks like we’re all stuck waiting for Facebook to fix it.

Yo, I’ve been dealing with this "facebook says session expired" nonsense too. Super annoying.
What worked for me was using a VPN. I switched my location, and boom, I was back in. Not sure why, but it did the trick. Maybe give that a shot? I use NordVPN, but any free one should work for testing.
Also, yeah, it’s happening on both app and desktop for me too. Facebook really needs to get their act together.
Hey! So I had the same issue earlier today. The "facebook says session expired" error kept popping up no matter what I did.
I ended up logging in through Facebook Lite (it’s a lighter version of the app) and it worked fine. Maybe try that? It’s not ideal, but at least you can access your account while they fix the main app.
Also, I checked Twitter, and apparently, it’s a widespread issue. So yeah, we’re all in this together lol.

I tried logging in on my partner’s phone, and it worked fine. So it might be device-specific? Idk, but maybe try logging in on another device if you can.
Also, I read somewhere that disabling any ad blockers or browser extensions might help. Didn’t work for me, but worth a shot!

I also tried Facebook Lite, and it’s working fine for now. Not ideal, but better than nothing.
Has anyone heard if Facebook has officially acknowledged the issue yet? I checked their Help Center, but no updates. Let me know if you find anything!
Ugh, the "facebook says session expired" error is the worst. I’ve been dealing with it all morning.
I tried logging in through Instagram (since it’s linked to my Facebook account) and it worked! Maybe try that as a workaround?
Also, I saw a post on Reddit saying that Facebook is aware of the issue and is working on a fix. So hopefully, it’ll be resolved soon. Fingers crossed!
Hey, I’ve been getting the "facebook says session expired" error too. Super frustrating.
What worked for me was clearing my browser’s cookies AND cache, not just one or the other. After that, I logged in using incognito mode, and it worked. Maybe give that a try?
Also, I noticed it’s happening more on Chrome than Safari. So if you’re using Chrome, maybe switch browsers temporarily.
