Hey everyone,

So I keep hitting this error 407 when trying to connect to certain sites. Says "Proxy Authentication Required," but I have no idea what credentials it wants.

Anyone else run into this? I’m on a work network, so maybe it’s some corporate proxy thing? Tried restarting and checking settings, but no luck.

Also, is there a way to bypass it (without getting in trouble, lol)? Or do I just gotta suck it up and ask IT?

Tried the LAN settings trick and unchecked the proxy box, but no luck. Also switched to my phone hotspot, and the error 407 disappeared—so def a work proxy issue.

Guess I’ll have to suck it up and ask IT.

One last Q: anyone know if there’s a way to save the proxy creds so I don’t have to keep entering them? Or is that a security no-no?
