"Has anyone else run into a random agent user during testing? What happened?"

Hey y'all,

So I was running some tests earlier and suddenly noticed a random agent user popping up in my session. Totally threw me off!

Anyone else seen this? Did it mess with your results or was it just chillin’ in the background?

Also, how’d you handle it? Ignore it? Report it? Super curious if this is a common thing or just me being unlucky lol.

Thanks!

"Random agent user in my tests—any tips for dealing with it?"

Ugh, so a random agent user decided to join my session uninvited. 🙄

It’s causing some weird behavior, and I’m not sure if it’s a bug or just... doing its own thing?

How do you guys usually handle these? Any tricks to keep it from messing with your workflow?

Appreciate any advice!

"Is a random agent user screwing up your tests too?"

Ran into a random agent user today and it totally derailed my session. Like, why??

Is this happening to others or am I just cursed? 😅

If you’ve dealt with this, how’d you fix it? Or is it just something we gotta live with?

Kinda frustrating ngl.

Let me know!
Yeah, I’ve seen that random agent user too! It showed up during a stress test and started skewing my data. Super annoying.

I ended up isolating the session and reporting it to support. They said it’s a known issue with some testing environments. Maybe check your logs to see if it’s tied to a specific trigger?
omg same! random agent user popped in like it owned the place. 😂

I just ignored it at first, but then it started messing with my metrics. Found out clearing the cache and restarting the session usually kicks it out.

Try that and lmk if it works for you!
Ugh, the random agent user is the worst. It’s like a ghost in the machine.

I started using a tool called SessionGuard (free trial!) to block unauthorized users during tests. Works like a charm so far. Might be worth a look if it keeps happening.
Happened to me last week! Random agent user just... vibing in the background.

Didn’t affect my results, but it was weird. Support told me it’s part of some automated monitoring system. Maybe yours is similar?
Bro, that random agent user is wild. It crashed my test twice before I figured out how to block it.

Try whitelisting only your IP in the test settings. Fixed it for me. Also, check out TestShield—it’s got a feature to flag intruders.
Random agent user? Yep, seen it. Thought I was going crazy at first.

Turns out it was a bot from another team’s script running at the same time. Communication is key—double-check if anyone else is testing!
lol the random agent user is like that uninvited guest who won’t leave.

I just closed the session and started fresh. No big deal, but if it’s persistent, maybe escalate it?
Hey everyone, thanks for all the replies!

Tried clearing the cache and restarting like some of you suggested, and it worked—no more random agent user (for now lol).

Still weird that it happens though. Anyone know if there’s a way to prevent it entirely? Or is it just a quirk we gotta deal with?

Appreciate the help!
Had the same issue! Random agent user kept interfering with my load tests.

Found a workaround by disabling auto-updates in the testing tool. Seems like it was a background process sneaking in.
