Sooo, I just got this super sketchy email claiming to be from "webshare" or something. It was like, "Your account has been compromised, click here to secure it!" 🙄
Anyone else gotten a webshare scam email recently? It looked legit at first glance, but the link was super sus. I didn’t click it, obvi, but now I’m curious if this is going around.
Also, why do these scammers think we’re gonna fall for this stuff? Like, c’mon. 😂

Yeah, I got that webshare scam email too! It looked pretty convincing at first, but the link was definitely sketchy. I always check the sender's email address, and it was some random domain that didn’t match webshare’s official one.
If you’re worried about phishing, I’d recommend using a tool like Have I Been Pwned to check if your email has been compromised. Also, enable 2FA on all your accounts if you haven’t already.

A good way to check if an email is legit is to hover over the link (don’t click!) and see where it leads. If it’s not the official webshare domain, it’s 100% a scam.
