Hey guys,

So, I was playing Ark last night, and outta nowhere, I got hit with an ip ban for ark. Like, wtf? I wasn’t even doing anything shady, just taming some dinos and minding my own business.

Has anyone else dealt with this? How’d you fix it? I’m kinda stuck rn and don’t wanna mess things up more.

I’ve heard stuff about resetting your router or using a VPN, but idk if that’s legit. Any tips or personal experiences would be super helpful!

Thanks in advance, y’all.

(Also, pls don’t roast me if this is a dumb question lol.)
Yo, that sucks about the ip ban for ark! Happened to me once too. I reset my router and it worked, but only for a bit. If it’s a temp ban, that might help.

If not, try a VPN like NordVPN or ExpressVPN. Just make sure to pick a server close to your location to avoid lag. Also, check if your IP is dynamic—some ISPs let you change it by restarting your router a few times.

Good luck, man!
Hey, I’ve dealt with an ip ban for ark before, and it’s super frustrating. First thing I’d do is contact the server admin or Ark support. Sometimes bans are accidental, and they can lift it if you explain your situation.

If that doesn’t work, a VPN is your best bet. I use Surfshark, and it’s been solid for gaming. Just don’t use free VPNs—they’re slow and sketchy.

Also, double-check if you were using any mods or scripts. Some servers are strict about that stuff.
Bro, same thing happened to me last week. I was just chilling, taming a Rex, and bam—ip ban for ark. I tried resetting my router, but no luck.

Ended up using a VPN (CyberGhost) and it worked like a charm. Just make sure to pick a gaming-friendly server. Also, check if your IP is static—if it is, you might need to contact your ISP to change it.

Hope you get back in soon!
Ugh, ip bans are the worst. I got hit with one a while back, and it turned out to be a false flag. I reached out to the server admin, and they fixed it after verifying I wasn’t cheating.

If that’s not an option, try a VPN. I’ve heard good things about ProtonVPN for gaming. Also, if your router supports it, you can manually change your IP through the settings.

Good luck, and don’t let it ruin your dino-taming fun!
Hey, I feel your pain. Got an ip ban for ark a few months ago, and it was such a headache. First, try restarting your router a few times—sometimes that forces a new IP.

If that doesn’t work, a VPN is your best bet. I use Private Internet Access, and it’s been great for gaming. Just avoid free ones—they’re usually trash for speed and security.

Also, check if you were using any mods or third-party tools. Some servers auto-ban for that.
Dude, that’s rough. I got an ip ban for ark once, and it turned out to be a mistake. I messaged the server admin, and they sorted it out.

If that’s not an option, try a VPN. I use ExpressVPN, and it’s been solid for gaming. Also, check if your ISP can give you a new IP—some will do it if you ask nicely.

Hope you get back in soon!
Hey, I’ve been there. Got an ip ban for ark last year, and it was so annoying. I tried resetting my router, but it didn’t work.

Ended up using a VPN (NordVPN) and it fixed the issue. Just make sure to pick a server close to your location to avoid lag. Also, check if you were using any mods—some servers are super strict about that.

Hey y’all, just wanted to say thanks for all the advice! I tried resetting my router a few times, and it didn’t work, so I’m gonna give a VPN a shot. I’m thinking of trying NordVPN since a few of you recommended it.

Also, I reached out to the server admin, but no response yet. Fingers crossed they get back to me soon.

Quick question though—if I use a VPN, will it mess with my ping or connection speed? I don’t wanna lag while taming dinos lol. Thanks again, everyone!
