Hey guys,
Sooo, I’m *so* over Instagram ads at this point. Like, every 3rd post is an ad, and it’s driving me nuts. 😩
Has anyone found a legit 3rd party Instagram app ad blocker that actually works? I’ve tried a couple, but they either don’t block anything or just break the app entirely. Not tryna deal with that mess lol.
If you’ve got one that’s been working for you, pls drop the name! Bonus points if it’s free or cheap. 🙏
Also, is it even safe to use a 3rd party Instagram app ad blocker? I don’t wanna get banned or anything, but I’m desperate at this point.
Thanks in advance! ✌️

Honestly, I feel you! The ads are out of control. I’ve been using this 3rd party Instagram app ad blocker called "AdGuard" for a while now, and it’s been a lifesaver.
It’s not free, but it’s super cheap (like $2/month), and it blocks most of the ads without breaking the app. Plus, it’s safe—no bans so far, and I’ve been using it for months.
Just make sure you download it from their official site to avoid sketchy versions.
Yo, I tried a bunch of 3rd party Instagram app ad blockers, and most of them are trash. But "Blokada" actually works pretty well.
It’s free (with a paid option for extra features), and it blocks ads across all apps, not just Instagram. The only downside is it can be a bit tricky to set up, but there are tutorials online.
As for safety, I haven’t had any issues, but I’d still be cautious. Instagram’s always updating their stuff, so who knows.
I’ve been using "Instander" as a 3rd party Instagram app ad blocker, and it’s been great! It’s a modded version of Instagram, so it blocks ads and has some cool extra features like downloading posts.
It’s free, but you have to sideload it since it’s not on the app store. Just make sure you get it from a trusted source like their official website.
No bans so far, but yeah, there’s always a risk with modded apps.
Honestly, I gave up on 3rd party Instagram app ad blockers because they kept breaking the app or just didn’t work.
What I do now is just use Instagram in my browser with an ad blocker like uBlock Origin. It’s not as smooth as the app, but it gets the job done, and it’s 100% safe.
If you’re desperate, it’s worth a shot!
I’ve heard good things about "AdLock" as a 3rd party Instagram app ad blocker. It’s not free, but it’s affordable and works across multiple platforms.
I haven’t personally used it for Instagram, but a friend swears by it. They said it blocks all the ads without any issues.
As for safety, it’s pretty reliable, but I’d still keep an eye on Instagram’s terms of service.
Thanks so much for all the suggestions, guys! I ended up trying AdGuard, and it’s been working pretty well so far. The ads are mostly gone, and the app hasn’t broken (yet lol).
I’m still a little nervous about the safety aspect, but I’ll keep an eye on it. If anything goes wrong, I’ll probably switch to using Instagram in the browser like someone suggested.
Appreciate all the help! 🙌
Tbh, I don’t trust 3rd party Instagram app ad blockers. I tried one once, and it messed up my account settings.
What I do now is just scroll past the ads or use the “hide ad” option when I see something annoying. It’s not perfect, but it’s safer than risking a ban.
If you do try one, just be super careful and read reviews first!
I’ve been using "AeroInsta" as a 3rd party Instagram app ad blocker, and it’s been working great for me. It’s a modded app, so it blocks ads and lets you do stuff like download stories.
It’s free, but you have to download it from their site since it’s not on the app store. No bans so far, but I’d still be cautious.
Just make sure you’re okay with the risks before trying it!
