Hey everyone,
So, I’ve been using freebookspot for ages to grab ebooks, but lately, it’s been acting up. Like, half the links are dead or the site just doesn’t load. Super frustrating, right?
Has anyone found a solid alternative to freebookspot that’s just as good? I’m looking for something with a decent variety of genres and, obviously, free lol.
I’ve tried a few sites, but they either have sketchy downloads or barely any books. Freebookspot was my go-to, so I’m kinda lost without it.
Any suggestions? Or is freebookspot still the best out there and I just need to deal with the glitches?
Thanks in advance!
freebookspot has been a mess for me too. I’ve been using Open Library, and it’s been pretty reliable.
It’s run by the Internet Archive, so you know it’s legit. You can borrow ebooks just like a real library, and it’s all free.
Wow, thanks for all the suggestions, everyone! I’ve already tried PDF Drive and Z-Library based on your comments, and they’re both awesome.
I’m gonna check out Libgen and Open Library next. Has anyone had issues with download limits on Z-Library? Just curious before I dive deeper into it.
Thanks again, you guys rock!
Same issue with freebookspot here. I’ve been using BookBoon for non-fiction and textbooks.
It’s free, and the quality is pretty good. Not as much fiction, but if you’re into learning stuff, it’s worth a look.
Hey! I feel your pain, freebookspot was my go-to for years too. Lately, it’s been such a hit or miss. I’ve switched to PDF Drive, and it’s been a lifesaver.
It’s got a huge library, and the downloads are super clean—no sketchy stuff. Plus, it’s free! Definitely check it out if you haven’t already.
ugh, same here! freebookspot has been so unreliable lately. I’ve been using Z-Library (b-ok.cc) and it’s been amazing.
The selection is massive, and you can filter by genre, language, etc. Only downside is you need to create an account, but it’s worth it imo.
I’ve been in the same boat. freebookspot was my favorite, but the dead links are driving me nuts.
I stumbled on Project Gutenberg a while back. It’s not as flashy, but it’s got a ton of classics and public domain books. Totally free and no ads!
freebookspot has been glitchy for me too. I switched to Libgen (Library Genesis) and it’s been a game-changer.
It’s got everything—fiction, non-fiction, textbooks, you name it. The interface isn’t the prettiest, but it gets the job done.
Honestly, freebookspot was great, but it’s been so hit or miss lately. I’ve been using ManyBooks recently, and it’s been solid.
They’ve got a good mix of genres, and the downloads are clean. Plus, it’s free, so no complaints here!
