Hey guys,
So, freebookspot was my go-to for years, but lately it’s been hit or miss. Anyone else having trouble with it?
I’m looking for solid alternatives to freebookspot that actually work. Tried a few sites, but either the selection sucks or the downloads are sketchy af.
Any recs? Preferably something with a decent variety and no shady pop-ups lol.
Thanks in advance!
Yeah, freebookspot used to be my jam too, but it’s been super unreliable lately. I’ve been using PDF Drive as an alternative, and it’s been pretty solid.
The selection is huge, and I haven’t run into any sketchy downloads or pop-ups. Plus, it’s free, which is always a win.
Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something similar to freebookspot but more consistent.
I feel you on freebookspot being hit or miss now. It’s such a bummer.
I’ve switched to Library Genesis (LibGen) for most of my downloads. It’s got a massive collection, and the downloads are clean.
Only downside is it can be a bit tricky to navigate at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s a lifesaver.
freebookspot was my go-to for years too, but yeah, it’s been rough lately.
I’ve been using Z-Library recently, and it’s been great. Tons of books, no pop-ups, and the downloads are fast.
They do have a daily download limit for free users, but it’s usually enough for me.
Same here, freebookspot has been so unreliable.
I’ve found Project Gutenberg to be a good alternative, especially for classics. It’s all public domain stuff, so no shady downloads or ads.
Not as much variety as freebookspot, but it’s a solid option if you’re into older books.
freebookspot has been a mess lately, right?
I’ve been using Open Library, and it’s been a decent replacement. It’s run by the Internet Archive, so it’s legit.
You can borrow books for free, and the selection is pretty good. No pop-ups or sketchy stuff either.
Ugh, freebookspot has been so hit or miss for me too.
I’ve been using BookBoon for textbooks and business books. It’s free, and the downloads are clean.
Not as much variety as freebookspot, but it’s great for niche stuff.
Thanks for all the suggestions, guys! I checked out Z-Library and PDF Drive, and they’re both awesome.
Z-Library’s daily limit is a bit annoying, but the selection is insane. PDF Drive is super easy to use, and no pop-ups, which is a huge plus.
Still gonna try out LibGen and Open Library later this week. Appreciate the help!
