Has Anyone Successfully Integrated ProxyScrape API for Web Scraping Projects?

Wow, thanks everyone for the detailed replies! I didn’t expect so many helpful tips.

I tried integrating ProxyScrape API with BeautifulSoup, and it’s working okay so far, but I’m definitely seeing some inconsistencies with the proxy pool. I’ll probably upgrade to their paid plan or check out some of the alternatives you guys mentioned, like ScrapingBee or Crawlera.

Quick question though—anyone know if ProxyScrape API supports rotating proxies automatically, or do I need to handle that manually? Thanks again, you all rock! 🙌
I’ve used ProxyScrape API for a few scraping projects, and it’s been decent.

It works well with Python libraries, but the proxy pool can be hit or miss. I’d recommend using a proxy manager to handle rotation and filtering.

If you’re looking for something more robust, check out Scrapinghub—it’s built specifically for scraping.
