"Has anyone tried image extractor: a chrome extension? How well does it work for downloading images?"

Hey folks!

So I’ve been hunting for a quick way to grab images from sites without right-clicking a million times. Stumbled on *image extractor: a chrome extension* and gave it a shot.

It’s… okay? Like, it def pulls all the images on a page, but the UI feels a bit clunky. Also, some pics come out weirdly low-res even when they’re clearly HD.

Anyone else tried it? Am I missing some hidden setting or is there a better tool out there?

(Also, why do all these extensions look like they were made in 2010? 😅)

"Is image extractor: a chrome extension the best for bulk downloads?"

Yo!

Need to download like 50+ images for a project and *image extractor: a chrome extension* keeps popping up in searches. But is it actually good?

Tried it on a couple sites—works fine for basic stuff, but crashes on heavy pages. And the "select all" button sometimes misses a few? Annoying.

If y’all know a smoother tool, hmu. Otherwise, guess I’ll deal with it.

"Looking for a reliable way to extract images—does image extractor: a chrome extension deliver?"

Alright, real talk:

I’m tired of sketchy downloaders that either don’t work or sneak in malware. *image extractor: a chrome extension* seems legit, but how’s it in practice?

Used it to scrape product pics from a store—decent speed, but the folder organization is a mess. And no batch rename? C’mon.

Worth keeping or should I ditch it for something else? Spill the tea.
I’ve used image extractor: a chrome extension for a while now, and yeah, it’s hit or miss. Works great on simple blogs but struggles with sites like Pinterest or Instagram.

If you need something more reliable, try "ImageAssistant" — way better for batch downloads and actually grabs high-res versions.

Also, yeah, the UI is stuck in 2010 vibes. No idea why devs don’t update these things.
Honestly, image extractor: a chrome extension is just... meh. It gets the job done but feels super outdated.

Pro tip: If you’re on Firefox, "DownThemAll!" is a lifesaver. Chrome users might wanna check out "Fatkun Batch Downloader" — smoother and less buggy.

And yeah, the low-res thing happens to me too. No fix afaik.
Yo, same issue here! image extractor: a chrome extension kept crashing on heavy pages for me.

Switched to "Save Image As" (another extension) and it’s way lighter. Doesn’t do bulk as well, but at least it doesn’t freeze.

Also, try "Bulk Media Downloader" if you’re dealing with galleries. Works like a charm.
image extractor: a chrome extension is decent for basic stuff, but the lack of batch rename is a dealbreaker for me.

"Image Downloader" (another Chrome tool) lets you filter by size/type and rename files before saving. Way more polished.

Also, why do all these tools look like they’re from the Geocities era? 😂
OP here—thanks for all the recs! Gonna try ImageAssistant and Fatkun today.

Update: Tried "Bulk Media Downloader" like someone suggested and it’s way faster. Still weird that image extractor: a chrome extension can’t handle simple renaming though.

Any tips for avoiding duplicates? That’s my next headache.
Used image extractor: a chrome extension for a school project and it was... okay?

But if you’re scraping product pics, "Web Scraper" (another extension) might be better. Lets you set rules for what to grab and saves in organized folders.

The OG extension is just too random with quality.
image extractor: a chrome extension is my go-to for quick grabs, but yeah, it’s clunky.

For heavy-duty stuff, I just use "JDownloader" (desktop app). Bit more setup, but handles everything — even protected images.

Chrome extensions are just bandaids tbh.
