Hey everyone,
Has anyone here tried using iproyal proxy for web scraping or automation? I’ve been looking into it, and it seems pretty decent, but I wanna know if it’s actually reliable for long-term use.
Like, does it handle captchas well? Or does it get blocked too often? Also, how’s the speed? I’ve heard mixed things, so I’m kinda on the fence.
Oh, and if you’ve used iproyal proxy, did you go for the residential or datacenter proxies? Which one’s better for scraping without getting flagged?
Any tips or experiences would be super helpful! Thanks in advance, y’all.
Cheers!
I’ve been using iproyal proxy for a few months now, mostly for scraping e-commerce sites. Honestly, it’s been pretty solid for me. The residential proxies are way better if you’re trying to avoid getting flagged.
Speed is decent, but it can vary depending on the location you choose. Captchas are still a thing, but pairing it with a tool like 2Captcha or Anti-Captcha helps a ton.
If you’re scraping heavy, I’d say go for the residential ones. Datacenter proxies are faster but get blocked more often.
Yo, iproyal proxy is legit for scraping! I’ve used their datacenter proxies for automation, and it’s been smooth for the most part.
But yeah, captchas can be annoying. I use a combo of Puppeteer and a captcha solver to handle that. Speed-wise, it’s pretty good, but residential proxies are def better for avoiding blocks.
If you’re just starting, maybe try their trial first to see how it works for your use case.
I tried iproyal proxy for a small scraping project, and it worked fine. I went with residential proxies, and they were way less likely to get blocked compared to datacenter ones.
Speed was okay, not the fastest but reliable. Captchas are still a pain, but that’s just part of scraping these days.
If you’re looking for alternatives, Bright Data is also worth checking out, but it’s pricier.
iproyal proxy is decent, but it’s not perfect. I’ve used both residential and datacenter proxies, and residential is def the way to go if you’re scraping sensitive sites.
Speed is alright, but I’ve noticed some lag during peak times. Captchas are still an issue, but that’s not really iproyal’s fault.
If you’re scraping a lot, I’d recommend pairing it with a good captcha solver.
I’ve been using iproyal proxy for a while now, and it’s been pretty reliable for my automation tasks. I mostly use residential proxies, and they’ve been great for avoiding blocks.
Speed is decent, but it can slow down if you’re using a lot of threads. Captchas are still a thing, but I use a tool like DeathByCaptcha to handle them.
Overall, it’s a good option if you’re looking for something affordable and reliable.
Thanks for all the replies, y’all! Super helpful to hear everyone’s experiences with iproyal proxy. I think I’m gonna go with the residential proxies based on what most of you said.
I’ll also check out those captcha solvers you mentioned. Has anyone tried using them with Puppeteer? Wondering if it’s worth the extra setup.
Also, anyone know if iproyal offers discounts for long-term plans? Trying to save some cash if I can. Cheers!
iproyal proxy is solid, but it’s not the fastest out there. I’ve used both residential and datacenter proxies, and residential is def better for scraping without getting flagged.
Speed is okay, but it can be inconsistent. Captchas are still a pain, but that’s just how it is with scraping.
If you’re looking for something faster, maybe check out Oxylabs, but it’s more expensive.
