Hey everyone,
So, I’ve been looking into iproyal proxy for web scraping and privacy stuff. Anyone here actually tried it? I’ve seen some mixed reviews, but tbh, I’m kinda curious if it’s worth the hype.
Like, does it actually work well for scraping without getting blocked every 5 seconds? And how’s the speed? I don’t wanna waste time on something that’s gonna lag like crazy.
Also, privacy-wise, is iproyal proxy legit? I don’t wanna end up with my data being sold off or something sketchy like that.
If anyone’s got experience with it, pls share! I’m tired of hopping between services that promise the world and deliver nada.
Thx in advance!
I’ve been using iproyal proxy for a few months now, and honestly, it’s been solid for web scraping. I haven’t had too many issues with getting blocked, but I do rotate IPs frequently just to be safe. Speed-wise, it’s decent—not the fastest out there, but definitely not laggy either. For privacy, I haven’t noticed anything sketchy, but I’d still recommend using a VPN alongside it for extra security.
If you’re looking for alternatives, Bright Data is another good option, though it’s pricier.
iproyal proxy is alright, but it really depends on what you’re scraping. I’ve used it for e-commerce sites, and it worked fine, but for more aggressive scraping, I’d suggest pairing it with a tool like Scrapy or Octoparse.
Speed is hit or miss—sometimes it’s great, other times it’s meh. Privacy-wise, I haven’t had any red flags, but I’m not super paranoid about that stuff.
Yo, I tried iproyal proxy for scraping Instagram data, and it was a mixed bag. Got blocked a couple of times, but their support helped me tweak the settings, and it got better. Speed was okay, nothing crazy.
If you’re worried about privacy, maybe check out Oxylabs—they’re more expensive but have a solid rep.
I’ve been using iproyal proxy for about a year now, and it’s been pretty reliable for my scraping projects. The key is to use their rotating proxies—they help avoid blocks. Speed is decent, but it can vary depending on the location you’re targeting.
As for privacy, I haven’t had any issues, but I always use HTTPS and avoid sending sensitive data through proxies in general.
Thanks for all the replies, everyone! Super helpful to hear your experiences with iproyal proxy. I think I’ll give it a shot for a smaller project and see how it goes.
Quick question though—anyone here tried using it with Python libraries like BeautifulSoup or Selenium? Wondering if it’s easy to integrate or if I’ll need to jump through hoops.
Also, thanks for the recs on Bright Data and Smartproxy—I’ll check those out too if iproyal doesn’t work out. Appreciate the insights!
Honestly, iproyal proxy is hit or miss. I’ve had some success with it for scraping smaller sites, but for bigger projects, I’d recommend something like Smartproxy or Luminati.
Speed is okay, but not the best. Privacy-wise, I haven’t seen any major issues, but I’d still be cautious.
I’ve been using iproyal proxy for a while now, and it’s been pretty good for scraping. The rotating proxies are a lifesaver—I rarely get blocked. Speed is decent, but it’s not the fastest out there.
For privacy, I haven’t had any issues, but I’d still recommend using a VPN just to be safe.
iproyal proxy is decent for the price, but it’s not perfect. I’ve had some issues with speed, especially during peak times. For scraping, it works okay, but I’ve had better luck with Bright Data.
Privacy-wise, I haven’t noticed anything sketchy, but I’m not super paranoid about that stuff.
