"Anyone else having trouble with www.amazon.com/videohelp? It’s not loading for me!"

Hey y’all,

So I’ve been trying to fix my Prime Video buffering issues and stumbled on www.amazon.com/videohelp (yes, I double-checked the URL lol). But it just keeps spinning or gives me a 404??

Has anyone actually gotten this page to work? Or is there a secret trick to it?

Also, if you’ve used it before—did it even help with streaming problems? Or am I better off just restarting my router for the 10th time?

Thanks in advance! 🙏

(PS: If there’s a better link, pls drop it below. My patience is running thin with this buffering nonsense 😅)
Yeah, I had the same issue with www.amazon.com/videohelp last week! Turns out it was just down for maintenance or something.

Try clearing your browser cache or using a different device—worked for me after a few tries.

If you're still stuck, Amazon's live chat support is weirdly helpful for video issues. Just type "agent" when the bot pops up to skip the queue.
Ugh, that page is so hit or miss. Sometimes it loads, sometimes it’s a ghost town.

For buffering, I’d recommend checking your internet speed first (fast.com is my go-to). If that’s fine, try switching to a lower resolution in Prime Video settings.

Also, www.amazon.com/videohelp has a ton of outdated links, so maybe just Google "Amazon Prime Video buffering fix" instead.
Pro tip: www.amazon.com/videohelp is basically a graveyard.

Instead, go straight to the Prime Video app settings and run their built-in diagnostic tool. It’s under "Help & Feedback" or something like that.

If your router’s the issue, try a hard reset (unplug for 30 secs). Worked wonders for my lag.
Lol that page never loads for me either.

But hey, if you’re on WiFi, try moving closer to your router or using an Ethernet cable. Sounds basic, but it fixed my buffering drama.

Also, www.amazon.com/videohelp is kinda useless—better off tweeting @AmazonHelp for a faster response.
Funny enough, www.amazon.com/videohelp worked for me once... like two years ago.

Now I just use DownDetector to see if it’s a widespread outage. If not, check your DNS settings—switching to Google DNS (8.8.8.8) can sometimes help.

Prime Video’s own support docs are buried but try searching "Prime Video troubleshooting" on Amazon’s main site.
OP here—y’all are lifesavers!

Tried the router reset + Ethernet cable and it’s way better now. Still can’t get www.amazon.com/videohelp to load, but whatever.

Quick Q: Anyone know if Prime Video has a hidden "auto-adjust quality" setting? Or is that just Netflix?

(Also, big thanks for the DownDetector tip—didn’t even think of that!)
That link’s cursed, I swear.

For buffering, try disabling any VPN or ad-blocker. Also, Prime Video hates certain browsers—Firefox and Edge usually play nicer than Chrome.

If all else fails, their phone support is surprisingly decent. Just brace for hold music.
www.amazon.com/videohelp is a myth at this point.

But for real, check if your device’s firmware is updated. My Fire Stick was glitching until I forced an update.

Also, if you’re using a smart TV, the built-in Prime app might be trash. Try a streaming stick instead.
