"Can someone help me figure out how to log into my Netgear router?"
Hey guys,
I’m kinda stuck here. Trying to set up my new Netgear router, but I can’t even get past the login page.
I typed the default IP (192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1) into my browser, but it’s not loading or says "invalid credentials." Tried "admin" and "password" too—no luck.
Am I missing something? Is there an easier way to figure out how to log into my Netgear router?
Also, does the WiFi need to be connected first? Kinda confused lol.

Hey! First thing—make sure you're connected to the router's network, either via WiFi or Ethernet. If you're not, the IP won’t load.
Also, try resetting the router (tiny button on the back, hold for 10 secs). That’ll reset the login to default (admin/password).
If that doesn’t work, check Netgear’s support site—they have a tool called "Nighthawk App" that can help with how to log into my netgear router.

Dude, same thing happened to me! Turns out my ISP changed the default gateway. Try typing "ipconfig" in Command Prompt (Windows) and look for "Default Gateway." That’s your router’s IP.
Also, some newer Netgear routers use a different default password, like "1234" or the serial number. Weird, right?
