Hey guys, so I’m kinda freaking out rn. i got ip blocked by instagram but im not botting, like at all. I was just scrolling through my feed, liking some posts, and BAM—blocked. No warning, nothing.
I’ve heard Instagram can be super strict with their algorithms, but this feels unfair. I’m not using any third-party apps or automation tools. Just my phone and my account.
Has anyone else dealt with this? How long does it usually take to get unblocked? I tried restarting my router to change my IP, but no luck.
Also, should I contact Instagram support or just wait it out? I don’t wanna make it worse lol. Any advice would be appreciated!

From what I’ve seen, Instagram’s algorithm can be super sensitive. Sometimes even liking too many posts in a short time can trigger it. I’d suggest waiting it out for 24-48 hours. If it doesn’t resolve, try logging in from a different device or using a VPN to change your IP.
As for contacting support, it’s hit or miss. They’re not the most responsive, but it’s worth a shot if the block persists. Good luck!

Do you think I should limit my activity for a bit? Like, not like too many posts in a row or something? Also, has anyone had this happen more than once? I don’t wanna deal with this again lol.
