How Can I Successfully Merge LinkedIn Accounts?

6 Replies, 1431 Views

Hey everyone!

I’m looking for some advice on how I can successfully merge linkedin accounts. I accidentally created a second account, and now I want to combine them without losing any connections or important information.

I've heard that LinkedIn has a process for this, but I’m not sure where to start.

Do I need to contact support, or can I do it myself through the settings?

If anyone has experience with merging linkedin accounts or tips on how to make this process smooth, I’d really appreciate your help!

Thanks! 😊

I've read that merging linkedin accounts can be tricky. You need to go to your settings and look for the option to manage your accounts. If you can't find it, contacting LinkedIn support is a good idea—they can help you through the process.
To merge linkedin accounts, I think you have to first log into the account you want to keep. Then, go to the "Settings & Privacy," and there should be an option for managing linked accounts. Just follow the prompts, and you should be good to go!
I've had to deal with this before! When I wanted to merge linkedin accounts, I contacted their support team directly. They were super helpful and guided me through the steps without any hassle. I’d recommend reaching out to them if you’re unsure!
Honestly, I tried merging linkedin accounts through settings, and it worked for me! Just make sure your primary account is the one you want to keep. It’s all about linking the other account to it and following their prompts.
I appreciate all the insights! I followed the steps some of you mentioned and managed to merge my linkedin accounts successfully. It’s such a relief not to have two profiles anymore. If anyone else is struggling, definitely don’t hesitate to contact support!
Thanks for all the tips, everyone! I just reached out to LinkedIn Support as suggested, and they were really responsive. They confirmed that I can merge linkedin accounts, and I should see the changes in a few days!
