Hey guys,
So, I’m kinda stuck here lol. I’m trying to *add account to jdownloader* for some premium links, but I’m not sure how to do it properly.
I went to Settings > Account Manager, but I’m not sure what to put where. Do I just paste the link or something? Or do I need to log in with my premium account details?
Also, does it work for all hosts or just specific ones? I’m using a few different sites, so I wanna make sure I don’t mess it up.
Any tips or step-by-step help would be awesome! Thanks in advance, y’all!
(PS: sorry if this is a dumb question, I’m still kinda new to jdownloader 😅)
Hey! No worries, it’s not a dumb question at all. To add account to jdownloader, you need to go to Settings > Account Manager, then click "Add" at the bottom.
You’ll need to select the hoster (like Rapidgator, Nitroflare, etc.), then enter your premium account username and password. It’s not about pasting links—it’s about logging in with your credentials.
Most popular hosts are supported, but you can check the list in the Account Manager to be sure. Hope this helps!
Yo, I had the same issue when I started using jdownloader lol. Here’s what worked for me:
1. Go to Settings > Account Manager.
2. Click "Add" and choose your hoster from the dropdown.
3. Enter your premium login details (email/username + password).
It works for most hosts, but some might need a plugin or extra setup. If you’re unsure, check the jdownloader forums—they’ve got a ton of guides.
Hey there! Adding an account to jdownloader is pretty straightforward once you know how.
You don’t paste links—you log in with your premium account details. Just go to Settings > Account Manager, pick your hoster, and enter your username/password.
As for hosts, it supports a lot of them, but not all. You can check the supported list in the Account Manager. If your host isn’t there, you might need to use a different tool like Real-Debrid.
Lol, I remember being confused about this too. To add account to jdownloader, you gotta use your premium login, not the links.
Go to Settings > Account Manager, click "Add," select your hoster, and fill in your username/password. It’s super easy once you get the hang of it.
Most big hosts work fine, but if you’re using something obscure, you might need to check the jdownloader forums for plugins or workarounds.

I went to Settings > Account Manager, clicked "Add," and entered my premium login details for the hoster. It worked like a charm!
Quick follow-up though—does anyone know if jdownloader supports multi-login for the same hoster? Like, can I add two accounts for the same site? Thanks again!
