Hey everyone!
I’m looking for some guidance on how do I add proxy to Chrome easily.
I know there are a few different methods to do this, but I want to make sure I’m following the most straightforward approach.
Here’s what I think I need to do:
1. Open Chrome Settings: First, I’ll need to go to the settings menu in Chrome. You can get there by clicking on the three dots in the upper right corner and selecting "Settings."
2. Advanced Settings: From there, I’ll scroll down and click on "Advanced" to access more options.
3. Open Proxy Settings: Under the “System” section, I should see an option that says “Open your computer’s proxy settings.” Clicking this will take me to the appropriate settings page.
4. Configure Proxy: Depending on my OS, I’ll either be in the Windows or macOS network settings. I’ll enter the proxy details here, like the IP address and port number.
5. Save Changes: After entering the details, I’ll make sure to save the changes and restart Chrome to see if the proxy is working.
If anyone has tips or shortcuts to make this process smoother or has run into issues while trying to add proxy to Chrome, please share your experiences!
Thanks! 😊
