Hey everyone!
I’m trying to figure out how to find mac address in windows 10 and could use some help. I need it for some network settings but can’t seem to locate it.
I've heard there are a couple of ways to find it, like through the Command Prompt or the Network Settings.
If anyone has a simple step-by-step guide or tips on how to find mac address in windows 10, I’d really appreciate it!
Thanks! 😊
To find the MAC address in Windows 10, you can use the Command Prompt. Just type `cmd` in the search bar, open it, and enter `getmac` or `ipconfig /all`. It should show your MAC address right there!

And don't forget, you can also find it in the Device Manager! Just right-click on the Start menu, select Device Manager, find your network adapter, right-click it, and go to Properties. The MAC address is under the "Advanced" tab!
Thanks for all the suggestions! I tried the Command Prompt method, and it worked like a charm! I appreciate the help, everyone. Now I can sort out my network settings easily. 😊
I usually prefer the Settings app. Just go to Settings > Network & Internet. Click on Wi-Fi or Ethernet, depending on your connection type, and then you can find your MAC address under the network properties.
If you want a more graphical way, you can check it in the Control Panel. Go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network Connections. Right-click on your network connection, select "Status," and then click on "Details." The MAC address will be listed there.
I found the easiest way is through the Network Settings. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status, then click on "Network and Sharing Center." From there, click your connection and check the details for the MAC address!
