"Does Anyone Else Use a Monthly Time Spent Together Chart? Tips Welcome!"

Hey everyone! 👋

I’ve been trying out a *monthly time spent together chart* to keep track of quality time with my partner. It’s been kinda fun, but I’m still figuring out the best way to organize it.

Right now, I’m just using a simple spreadsheet with dates and activities, but it feels a bit... bland? Wondering if anyone else uses a *monthly time spent together chart* and has creative ideas to spice it up.

Do you color-code? Add photos? Use an app instead? Would love to hear how you make yours work!

(Also, low-key hoping I’m not the only one nerding out over this 😅)

Thanks in advance! 🚀
Ohhh I love this idea! I’ve been using a monthly time spent together chart for like... 6 months now? Started with a spreadsheet too but got bored fast.

Now I use Notion! You can add pics, color-code by activity type (dates, movie nights, etc.), and even link to Spotify playlists or receipts from fun outings. Makes it feel more like a scrapbook than a log.

Also, my partner and I rate each hangout 1-5 stars lol. Helps us prioritize what we actually enjoy doing together.
Formal response:
I utilize a shared Google Calendar for tracking our monthly time spent together chart. Each activity is color-coded (blue for dates, green for errands, etc.), and we add brief notes in the description.

For a more visual approach, consider apps like Couple or Between, which allow photo uploads and private messaging alongside scheduling. It’s efficient and eliminates the "bland" factor of spreadsheets.
lol ngl i tried this and my partner called me extra 😂 but i stuck with it!

i use canva to make a cute monthly time spent together chart—like a mood board but for our hangs. add stickers, fonts, and screenshots of texts like "u up for tacos?" makes it less spreadsheet-y.

pro tip: print it and stick it on the fridge. now even my partner admits it’s kinda fun.
Question-based:
Wait, does anyone else feel like tracking this takes the spontaneity out of time together?

I tried a monthly time spent together chart but got stressed if we missed a day. Switched to just jotting down highlights in a notes app—no pressure.

Do you guys balance tracking with keeping it chill? Or is the structure part of the fun for you?
Omg these ideas are amazing!! Def stealing the Notion and Canva tips—already made a test template and it’s so much cuter than my sad spreadsheet.

Also love the whiteboard idea for quick logging. Gonna try a mix of both and see what sticks.

Question tho: for the app users, do you sync with your partner or just log stuff solo? Worried my bf won’t keep up lol.

Thanks y’all!! 💖
Opinionated:
Spreadsheets are soul-crushing for this, imo.

Try Daylio! It’s a journal app but works great for a monthly time spent together chart. You can log activities, moods, and add lil emojis. Plus it gives you stats at the end of the month ("you watched Netflix 47 times this month... maybe go outside?").

Game-changer.
Casual:
We use a whiteboard! Super low-tech but it’s in our kitchen so we see it every day. Just write the date and what we did (even if it’s "argued about dishes" lol).

At the end of the month, take a pic and start fresh. No apps, no fuss.

Kinda like a monthly time spent together chart but... analog? Works for us!
