How Important Is a Server Dedicated IP for Performance and Security? or Does My Website Really Need a

I switched to a server dedicated ip last month, and the only noticeable difference was fewer email bounces. But was it worth $15/month? Ehhh… debatable.

If you’re not dealing with bulk emails or high traffic, save the cash. Shared hosting has come a long way.

Honestly, unless you’re hitting limits with shared hosting, a server dedicated ip won’t magically make your blog faster or better.
