How Many People Can Be in One Discord Call?

Hello everyone,

I have a quick question regarding Discord calls. I’m curious about how much people can be in one discord call.

From what I understand, the limit for voice channels typically stands at 25 users for regular servers. However, if you’re using a server with Discord Nitro, you can increase that limit to 100 participants.

Is that correct?

Additionally, I’ve heard that Discord is always working on updates, so is there a chance this limit might change in the future?

If anyone has insights or updates on this topic, please share!

Thank you!
Hey there! You're pretty much on point about how much people can be in one discord call. The standard limit is indeed 25 users for voice channels, but for those with Discord Nitro, you can have up to 100 participants. It's great for larger groups!
Yes, that's correct! I recently tested it out with a Nitro server, and we managed to get 100 people in at once. It was a wild experience!
As for future updates, Discord is always rolling out new features. I wouldn’t be surprised if they eventually increase that limit even more, especially with how popular voice chats have become lately.
I've read that Discord is listening to user feedback a lot. So, if they see a demand for larger calls, they might consider bumping up the numbers.
I’ve also noticed that the quality of the call can dip when you have a lot of participants, especially if everyone's talking at once. It’s something to keep in mind when using that 100-person limit.
Thanks for all the insights, everyone! I really appreciate it. I’m gonna go ahead and try out a Nitro subscription to see how it works with larger calls.
