For how to change my dns settings on xbox one:
- Settings > Network > Advanced > DNS > Manual
- Enter 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1

Cloudflare’s DNS made my games way smoother.

Also, if you’re on WiFi, try moving closer to the router. Signal strength matters more than people think.
