Hey guys,
Sooo I’ve been trying to figure out *how to off tproxy setting on my iPad* for like an hour now and I’m lowkey losing my mind. 😩

I turned it on for some random reason a while back, and now I can’t even remember how I did it. Like, where even is the setting?? I’ve been digging through the settings app, but no luck.

Anyone else dealt with this? Is there some secret menu or something I’m missing? Or do I need to reset my whole iPad just to get rid of this tproxy thing?

Pls help a sis out, I just wanna browse normally again. 🙏

(Also, sorry if this is a dumb question, I’m not super techy lol.)
Hey! I feel your pain, tproxy settings can be such a headache. 😅

To turn off tproxy on your iPad, go to Settings > Wi-Fi, then tap the "i" next to your connected network. Scroll down and look for "Configure Proxy." If it’s set to "Manual" or "Automatic," just switch it to "Off." That should do the trick!

Omg I had the same issue last week! 😩 Took me forever to figure it out.

You don’t need to reset your iPad, don’t worry. Just go to Settings > Wi-Fi, tap the network you’re on, and check the "Configure Proxy" section. If it’s enabled, switch it off.

If it’s not there, maybe try forgetting the network and reconnecting? Sometimes that clears weird settings. Hope this helps!

Ugh, tproxy is the worst. 😤 I had to deal with this last month.

To turn off tproxy on your iPad, go to Settings > Wi-Fi > [your network] > Configure Proxy. If it’s on, just toggle it off. Easy peasy!

If you’re still stuck, maybe check out Apple’s support page—they have step-by-step instructions. Good luck, sis!
OMG thank you all so much!! 🙌 I finally found the "Configure Proxy" thingy and turned it off. Idk why it was so hidden lol.

Quick question though—if I switch Wi-Fi networks, do I have to check this setting again? Or is it just for the one network?

Also, thanks for the links and tips! Y’all are lifesavers. 💖
Hey! I’ve been there, and it’s super frustrating. 😩

To off tproxy setting on your iPad, go to Settings > Wi-Fi, tap the "i" next to your network, and look for "Configure Proxy." If it’s enabled, just turn it off.

If that doesn’t work, try resetting your network settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings). Just be aware it’ll forget all your saved Wi-Fi passwords. Hope this helps!
Lol I feel you, tproxy is such a mystery. 😂
