"Is FoxyProxy for Firefox Still the Best Proxy Management Tool?"

Hey folks! Been using foxyproxy firefox for years, but lately I’m wondering if it’s still the go-to for proxy management.

Heard some mixed things about recent updates—some say it’s glitchy, others swear by it.

What’s your experience? Are there better alternatives now, or is foxyproxy firefox still king?

Also, does it play nice with FF’s latest versions? Mine’s been a bit slow, not sure if it’s the addon or just my setup.

Kinda miss the old simplicity, but maybe I’m just nostalgic lol.

Would love to hear your thoughts!
I've been using foxyproxy firefox for ages too, and yeah, it’s gotten a bit clunky lately.

Switched to Proxy SwitchyOmega recently, and it’s way smoother. Works like a charm with FF’s latest updates.

FoxyProxy’s still decent if you need advanced rules, but for simplicity, SwitchyOmega’s the way to go.

Check it out: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detai...jomclgjgif (yes, it works on Firefox too!).
Nah, foxyproxy firefox is still solid imo.

The recent updates fixed most of the glitches for me. Sure, it’s not as lightweight as it used to be, but the customization is unbeatable.

If you’re having slowdowns, try clearing your proxy rules—sometimes old junk piles up.

Haven’t found anything better for complex setups.
Honestly, I ditched foxyproxy firefox a while back.

Started using Windscribe’s built-in proxy manager. It’s super simple and integrates with their VPN (free tier available).

Not as feature-rich, but if you just need quick proxy swaps, it’s a lifesaver.

FoxyProxy’s still king for me, but yeah, it’s not perfect.

The slowdown might be from FF’s container tabs conflicting with it. Try disabling containers if you use them.

Alternatives? Proxy Helper’s decent but lacks some features.

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys!

Gave Proxy SwitchyOmega a try, and it’s definitely faster than foxyproxy firefox for my needs.

Still miss some of FoxyProxy’s features though—might keep both installed for now.

Anyone know if SwitchyOmega handles PAC files as well as FoxyProxy? That’s a dealbreaker for me.
Mixed feelings here.

Foxyproxy firefox is powerful, but the UI feels outdated.

Been testing SmartProxy lately—way more modern and works flawlessly with FF Quantum.

Worth a shot if you’re tired of FoxyProxy’s quirks.
If you’re just using basic proxies, why not stick with Firefox’s built-in settings?

Foxyproxy firefox is overkill for most people.

But if you need automation, it’s still the best. No real competition for advanced users.
