"Is google scraping still worth it, or am I wasting my time?"

Seriously tho, I’ve been using google scraping for a while, but lately, it feels like Google’s cracking down harder. Getting blocked left and right, captchas everywhere… ugh.

Are there better alternatives now? Or is it just about tweaking the approach?

I’ve heard some folks use proxies or rotate user agents, but idk if that’s enough anymore.

What’s your experience? Still making google scraping work, or moved on to something else?

(Also, if you’ve got tips to avoid getting nuked by Google, pls share. Tired of the cat-and-mouse game lol.)
Google scraping is definitely getting tougher, but it's not dead yet. I've had success using rotating residential proxies (like from Bright Data or Smartproxy) and tweaking request delays.

Also, try mimicking human behavior—randomize click patterns, scroll delays, etc. Google’s algo is brutal, but if you’re subtle, it’s still doable.

Alternatives? Maybe try SERP APIs like SerpAPI or Zenserp—way fewer blocks.
Man, I feel you. Google scraping is such a pain now. I switched to using ScraperAPI recently, and it’s been a game-changer. Handles all the proxy and CAPTCHA stuff for you.

Still, if you’re DIY-ing it, rotating user agents + headless browsers (Puppeteer/Playwright) help. But honestly, it’s a grind.
Yeah, Google’s anti-scraping is next-level now. Proxies alone won’t cut it—you need to spoof fingerprints too. Tools like Undetected ChromeDriver or selenium-stealth help.

Also, consider scraping Bing or Yandex instead. Less aggressive, and the data’s similar for most use cases.
If you’re still doing google scraping manually, you’re gonna have a bad time. APIs are the way to go. I use Apify’s Google Scraper—saves so many headaches.

For free options, check out Serpstack or ScrapingBee. They’ve got decent free tiers to test things out.
Lol, the cat-and-mouse game is real. I gave up on google scraping and just pay for a SERP service now. Worth every penny.

But if you’re stubborn like me, try mixing in mobile user agents—Google seems to block those less aggressively.
Proxies + user agents are baseline now. You gotta go deeper—disable WebRTC, randomize screen resolutions, and even mouse movements.

Check out this GitHub repo called "awesome-anti-scraping" for more tricks. Google’s smart, but not unbeatable.
Thanks for all the tips, guys! Gonna try ScraperAPI and see if it’s less of a headache.

Quick Q—anyone tried combining proxies with Tor for google scraping? Heard mixed results, but curious if it’s worth the setup.

Also, big shoutout to the person who mentioned mobile user agents—totally forgot about that trick.
Honestly, google scraping is only worth it if you’re scaling big. For small projects, just use manual searches or pay for an API.

But if you’re committed, Cloudflare bypass tools like FlareSolverr can help. It’s a constant arms race though.
I’ve been using Puppeteer with stealth plugins, and it’s working… for now. Google’s detection is insane, but slow, randomized requests still slip through.

Also, avoid scraping during peak hours. Less traffic = less suspicion.
