"Is Roxy Proxy Still the Best Option for Secure Browsing?"
Hey everyone, been using Roxy Proxy for a while now, and it's been solid for keeping my browsing private. But lately, I’ve seen a ton of new options popping up.
Is Roxy Proxy still the go-to for security, or are there better alternatives now? I mean, it’s reliable, but does it hold up against newer tools?
Also, noticed some slowdowns during peak times—anyone else?
Would love to hear your thoughts!
Roxy Proxy is decent, but honestly, there are better options now. I switched to NordVPN’s proxy feature, and it’s way faster with no slowdowns during peak hours.
If you’re all about security, check out ProtonVPN or Windscribe—both have free tiers to test. Roxy Proxy was great back in the day, but tech moves fast, ya know?
Anyone else tried these?
I’ve stuck with Roxy Proxy for years, and it’s still my go-to for basic privacy. Yeah, it’s not the fastest, but it’s reliable and doesn’t log your data.
For speed issues, try switching servers or upgrading to their premium plan. But if you want something newer, maybe look into Smartproxy or Luminati.
Kinda depends on your needs tbh.
Roxy Proxy? Meh. It’s okay, but the slowdowns are real. I’ve been using HideMyAss (HMA) lately, and it’s way smoother for browsing.
Also, if you’re into open-source stuff, Shadowsocks is worth a look. Roxy Proxy feels a bit outdated compared to these.
Just my two cents!
Honestly, Roxy Proxy still gets the job done for me. I don’t need anything fancy—just a no-fuss way to browse securely.
But if you’re hitting slowdowns, maybe try clearing your cache or using a different server location. For alternatives, I’ve heard good things about TorGuard.
Not sure it’s worth switching unless you’re really frustrated, though.
Roxy Proxy was my first proxy service, but I’ve moved on. Surfshark’s proxy feature is cheaper and way faster, plus it includes a full VPN.
If you’re sticking with Roxy Proxy, maybe try their dedicated IP option? Might help with the lag. But yeah, the market’s packed with better choices now.
Thanks for all the suggestions, guys! I tried NordVPN’s proxy like someone mentioned, and it’s definitely faster.
Still gonna keep Roxy Proxy as a backup though—old habits die hard, lol.
Anyone know if Roxy Proxy has any updates coming soon? Might stick around if they improve the speed.
I’ve been testing a bunch of proxies lately, and Roxy Proxy is... fine. Not terrible, not amazing.
For speed, check out GeoSurf—it’s pricier but super reliable. Or if you’re on a budget, Oxylabs has a good rep.
Roxy Proxy’s still usable, but it’s definitely fallen behind.
