Hey folks!
Anyone know a good chrome extension pull data from google search results page? I'm tired of copy-pasting stuff manually lol.
Tried a few but they either break after updates or just don’t work right. Need something reliable to scrape titles, URLs, maybe even snippets?
Bonus if it exports to CSV or sheets. Free is ideal, but don’t mind paying if it’s *actually* worth it.
Also, pls no shady stuff—don’t wanna wake up to malware 😅
Thanks in advance!
*(ps. if you’ve got tips on using these extensions, drop ‘em here too!)*
Hey! I’ve been using Web Scraper for chrome extension pull data from Google search results page, and it’s been solid for me.
It grabs titles, URLs, and snippets no problem.
Exports to CSV too, which is clutch.
Only downside is it’s got a bit of a learning curve, but there are tutorials on their site.
Free version works fine, but the paid one’s faster if you’re doing big scrapes.
Yo, check out Instant Data Scraper!
Super easy to use—just point and click, and it pulls all the data you need from Google search results.
Exports to CSV or Sheets, and it’s free.
Only thing is it sometimes misses a few entries if the page loads slow, but for quick jobs, it’s golden.
If you’re okay with a paid tool, Octoparse is worth every penny.
Not just a chrome extension pull data from Google search results page—it’s a full-blown scraper with cloud options.
Handles pagination, exports to CSV/Excel, and even runs scheduled scrapes.
Free trial lets you test it out, but the pro features are where it shines.
Honestly, I’ve had mixed luck with extensions breaking after updates.
But Scraper (yes, that’s the name lol) has been pretty reliable for me.
Simple, lightweight, and does the job for basic scraping—titles, URLs, snippets.
No fancy exports, but you can copy-paste into Sheets easy enough.
Pro tip: Use Google Sheets’ IMPORTXML function if you’re comfy with XPath.
Not a chrome extension pull data from Google search results page, but it’s free and no install needed.
Just paste the search URL and write the XPath for titles/URLs.
Steep learning curve, but once you get it, it’s a game-changer.
Try DataMiner—it’s got a free tier and works well for scraping Google results.
You can set up custom selectors for titles, URLs, etc., and export to CSV.
UI’s a bit clunky, but it’s reliable and doesn’t feel sketchy.
Bonus: Works on other sites too, not just Google.
Hey! I’ve been down this rabbit hole before lol.
Most extensions break because Google tweaks their HTML constantly.
Your best bet is something like ParseHub—it’s not a chrome extension pull data from Google search results page, but it’s a desktop app that handles changes better.
Free for small projects, and exports to CSV/Excel.
Wow, thanks for all the suggestions, folks!
Gonna try Web Scraper and Instant Data Scraper first—seem like the easiest to test out.
If those don’t work, I’ll dive into Octoparse or ParseHub.
Quick Q: Anyone know if these tools handle captchas? Ran into that issue with another scraper before.
Appreciate the help!
For a no-frills option, check out ScrapeStorm.
It’s a chrome extension pull data from Google search results page, and it’s surprisingly stable.
Drag-and-drop interface, exports to CSV, and even has AI to help with tricky pages.
Free version has limits, but the paid one’s cheap if you need more.
