"Is Waterfox YouTube Still a Good Alternative for Privacy-Conscious Users?"
Hey folks! So I've been using Waterfox YouTube for a while now, and I'm kinda torn. On one hand, it feels lighter than Chrome and doesn’t track as much, which is great for privacy. But lately, I’ve seen mixed reviews about whether it’s still keeping up with updates and security patches.
Anyone else noticed this? Like, does it still block ads and trackers effectively, or is it falling behind? Also, how’s the performance for y’all?
Kinda debating if I should stick with it or switch to something like LibreWolf. Thoughts?

I've been using Waterfox YouTube for a few months now, and honestly, it's been hit or miss. The ad-blocking still works pretty well for me, but I’ve noticed some slowdowns lately.
If you're worried about updates, maybe check out LibreWolf—it’s got a more active dev team. Or even Brave, which is pretty solid for privacy and blocks trackers out of the box.
Still, Waterfox YouTube is decent if you tweak the settings. Just make sure you’re manually checking for updates since they don’t always auto-push.

Quick question—anyone know if LibreWolf works well with YouTube’s dark mode? That’s one thing I’ll miss if I switch.
