"Anyone else noticed youtube blocking proxy servers lately? WTF is going on?"
So I’ve been using a proxy to watch region-locked stuff on YouTube, and suddenly… bam! "Video unavailable" everywhere. Tried a couple different proxies, same crap.
Is youtube blocking proxy connections now? Or is it just me? Feels like they’re cracking down hard.
Anyone found a workaround? VPNs still working or are those getting nuked too?
Kinda annoying how they’re pulling this stunt. Like, let me watch my dang videos in peace.
If you’ve got tips to bypass this, drop ‘em below. Otherwise, guess I’ll go yell at the internet for a bit.
*typos intentional, typing angry lol*
Yeah, noticed the same thing. Youtube blocking proxy servers seems to be their new move.
I switched to a VPN instead, and it’s working fine so far. NordVPN and ExpressVPN both bypass the restrictions for me.
Might wanna give those a shot. Sucks that they’re cracking down tho.
Ugh, same here. Tried like 3 different proxies and nada.
VPNs still seem to work, but who knows for how long? YouTube’s really stepping up their game with these blocks.
If you’re tech-savvy, maybe try setting up your own proxy? A bit of a hassle, but could be worth it.
Not just you, dude. YouTube’s been aggressive lately with blocking proxy connections.
I’ve had luck with SmartDNS services—they’re less likely to get flagged than proxies.
Check out Unlocator or SmartDNS Proxy. Works for me when VPNs feel too slow.
Yep, youtube blocking proxy servers is definitely a thing now.
Weirdly, some smaller VPN providers still slip through. Mullvad and ProtonVPN are holding up for me.
Might be worth rotating servers if one gets blocked. Annoying, but doable.
Bro, same. It’s like YouTube’s on a warpath.
I’ve heard residential proxies might work since they look like real IPs. Luminati’s pricey but could be an option.
Otherwise, just keep hopping VPNs till one sticks.
Yeah, it’s a mess. YouTube’s really tightening up on proxy and VPN detection.
Tor browser sometimes works, but it’s slow as hell.
If you’re desperate, try it—just don’t expect HD quality.
Noticed this too. Youtube blocking proxy ips like crazy.
Weirdly, my free Windscribe VPN still works. Maybe they haven’t blacklisted all their servers yet?
Worth a shot if you don’t wanna pay upfront.
Thanks for the tips, guys. Tried ExpressVPN and it’s working for now.
Still sucks that youtube blocking proxy servers is even a thing. Like, why tho?
Anyone know if this is just a temp thing or are they going full lockdown? Also, does clearing cache actually help? Might test that later.
Same issue here. Proxies are getting wrecked.
Try a different protocol in your VPN settings—like WireGuard or OpenVPN. Sometimes that tricks YouTube.
Also, clear your cookies. Might help.
