Subject: Need a solid pv4 proxy for scraping – any recs?
Hey guys,
Looking for a reliable pv4 proxy that won’t crap out mid-scrape. Tried a few but they either get banned too fast or are slower than dial-up.
Any suggestions? Prefer something with decent speeds and *not* flagged instantly. Budget’s flexible but don’t wanna break the bank.
Also, if you’ve got tips on avoiding blocks, hmu.
Thanks in advance!
(PS: If you’re selling, pls don’t spam. Just drop a legit review or link.)
Hey! I’ve been using Bright Data for pv4 proxies, and they’ve been solid for scraping. A bit pricier, but the uptime is worth it.
For avoiding blocks, rotate your IPs frequently and keep your request rate low. Also, try mimicking human behavior—random delays between requests help.
If you’re on a budget, Smartproxy is a decent alternative. Not as fast, but way cheaper and still reliable.
Lmao, been there. Most pv4 proxies suck because they’re overused. Try Oxylabs—their residential proxies are less likely to get banned.
Speed’s good, but yeah, it’s not the cheapest. If you’re scraping heavy, it’s worth it tho.
Pro tip: Use a headless browser with fingerprint spoofing. Makes you look less bot-like.
For pv4 proxies, I’d recommend Luminati. They’ve got a huge pool, so bans are rare.
Speed is decent, but the setup can be a pain. Once it’s running, though, smooth sailing.
Also, check out ScraperAPI—it’s not just proxies but handles a lot of the anti-bot stuff for you. Saves time.
Man, I feel you. Tried so many pv4 proxies that died after a day.
Currently using GeoSurf. Their residential IPs are legit—less likely to get flagged. Speeds are okay, not amazing, but stable.
For blocks, rotate user agents and use sessions. Oh, and avoid scraping too fast. Patience is key.
Thanks for all the recs! Gonna test out Bright Data and Oxylabs first.
Quick q: Anyone tried pairing these pv4 proxies with Puppeteer? Wondering if it’s worth the extra setup.
Also, GeoSurf sounds interesting—might give that a shot if the others flop. Appreciate the tips on rotation too!
If you’re scraping, pv4 proxies alone might not cut it. Try pairing them with a tool like ScrapeBox.
I use Proxy-Seller for cheap pv4 proxies, but you gotta filter the bad ones. Their private proxies are better for scraping.
Also, CAPTCHA solvers like 2Captcha can help if you’re hitting walls.
Yo, check out Storm Proxies. Their pv4 proxies are pretty reliable for scraping, and they’re not crazy expensive.
Speed’s decent, and they give you a dashboard to manage everything.
For blocks, mix in some mobile proxies if you can. They’re harder to detect. Also, avoid scraping during peak hours—less suspicion.
