"Does anyone have a working proxy that actually stays up?"

Hey guys,

I’m so tired of proxies that die after like 2 days. 😩 Anyone got a working proxy that doesn’t just vanish or get blocked instantly?

I’ve tried a bunch of free ones, but they’re all trash. Even some paid ones flake out. Need something stable for basic browsing.

If you’ve got a solid rec, pls share! Free or paid, idc as long as it’s *actually* a working proxy.

Thanks in advance! 🙏

(Also, if you know why some get blocked faster than others, lmk. Feels like a mystery lol.)
Yo, I feel your pain! Free proxies are a nightmare. I’ve been using Proxyrack for a few months now, and it’s been solid. Not free, but cheap enough.

They rotate IPs so it doesn’t get blocked as fast.

For free, try HideMyAss (their free tier is hit or miss, but sometimes works).

Why do they die? Mostly because too many people abuse them or the IP gets blacklisted. Paid ones last longer cuz they’re less crowded.
Dude, just get a VPN with proxy features like NordVPN or Surfshark. Way more stable than random free proxies.

If you *need* a working proxy, try Luminati (now Bright Data). It’s pricey but legit. Free stuff is always gonna suck.

Blocking happens when sites detect too much traffic from one IP. Paid services spread the load.
I swear by Smartproxy for basic browsing. Cheap and hasn’t failed me yet.

Free proxies? Forget it. They’re all overloaded or shady. Even if you find a working proxy, it’ll die in hours.

Pro tip: Avoid public lists. They’re scraped to death.
Have you tried GeoSurf? It’s paid but super reliable. I use it for work and it’s never let me down.

Free proxies are a waste of time—most are just honeypots or super slow.

Blocking is usually from abuse or bad IP reputation. Paid ones cycle IPs better.
Lol free proxies are like finding a unicorn.

If you want a *real* working proxy, check out Storm Proxies. Cheap and stays up.

Why they die? Everyone and their mom uses free ones till they’re burned out.
PacketStream is decent if you’re okay with peer-to-peer proxies. Not always lightning fast, but it’s a working proxy that doesn’t vanish overnight.

Free ones? Nah, they’re either dead or packed with malware.

Sites block them because they’re flagged as spam sources.
Honestly, just get a residential proxy from Oxylabs. Yeah, it’s paid, but it’s the closest thing to a stable, working proxy you’ll find.

Free proxies are a gamble—most are already blacklisted.

Blocking happens when too many requests come from the same IP. Paid services avoid that.
For basic browsing, KProxy is okay-ish. Free version has limits, but it’s better than nothing.

If you need long-term, go paid. IPRoyal is affordable and stays up.

Free proxies die because they’re abused to death. Paid ones manage traffic better.
Wow, thanks for all the recs! Didn’t expect so many options.

I’ll try Smartproxy and Storm Proxies first since they’re budget-friendly.

Quick Q: Anyone know if these work with Netflix? Or do they block proxies too?

(Also, big thanks for explaining why free ones suck. Makes sense now.)
