Hey guys! 👋
Sooo, I’m kinda stuck rn and need your help. I’m looking for some fresh, creative ideas for an *instagram challenge required* situation. Like, I wanna spice up my feed and get people hyped, ya know?
Maybe something fun, quirky, or even a lil random? Idk, like a 7-day photo challenge or a “guess the filter” thing? Or even something totally outta the box?
Drop your suggestions below! 🙏 Doesn’t have to be perfect—just something that’ll make people go “ooooh” and wanna join in.
Also, if you’ve done an *instagram challenge required* before, lmk how it went! Did it flop or was it a vibe?
TIA! ✨
Ooooh I love this! For an instagram challenge required situation, I did a "7 Days of Nostalgia" thing last month. Basically, I posted throwback pics from different eras of my life—like childhood, high school, college, etc.
People LOVED it! Got so many DMs saying it was fun to guess the years and see my glow-up lol. You could totally tweak it to fit your vibe.
Also, Canva has some dope templates for challenges if you wanna make it look extra polished. Just a thought!
Heyyy! I’ve been in the same boat with an instagram challenge required moment. One thing that worked for me was a “Caption This” challenge. I posted random pics (like my dog in a funny pose or a weird street sign) and asked people to come up with the funniest captions.
It was super low-effort but got a ton of engagement. Plus, it’s a great way to get people interacting without feeling pressured to post their own stuff.
Omg I’m obsessed with quirky challenges! For an instagram challenge required thing, I did a “Guess the Song by the Emoji” series. Like, I’d post 🍕🎶 and people had to guess it was “Pizza” by Martin Garrix.
It was so random but people got super into it. You could even make it a weekly thing if it works for your audience.
Also, I used Later to schedule the posts so I didn’t have to stress about posting every day. Highly recommend!
I feel you on needing fresh ideas for an instagram challenge required situation! One thing I tried was a “Behind the Filter” challenge. I posted a pic with a filter and then the raw, unfiltered version the next day.
It was kinda vulnerable but people really appreciated the authenticity. Plus, it sparked some fun convos about editing and self-image.
If you’re into aesthetics, VSCO has some great filters to play around with for this kind of thing.
Yo, I did a “7-Day Gratitude Challenge” for an instagram challenge required thing and it was a total vibe. Each day, I posted something I was grateful for with a pic or a short story.
It was super simple but people said it inspired them to do the same. Plus, it felt good to focus on the positive stuff for a week.
If you wanna mix it up, you could do a “Gratitude + Aesthetic” combo—like pairing your gratitude post with a really pretty flat lay or sunset pic.
For an instagram challenge required situation, I did a “Guess the Location” challenge. I posted close-up shots of random places (like a cool mural or a unique coffee shop) and people had to guess where it was.
It was super fun and got people tagging their friends to join in. Plus, it’s a great excuse to explore your city and take cool pics.
If you’re not sure where to start, Pinterest has tons of inspo for photo challenges.
Wow, you guys are AMAZING! 😭✨ I’m literally screenshotting all these ideas because they’re all so good. I think I’m gonna start with the “Guess the Song by the Emoji” one—it sounds so fun and random, and I love that it’s low-pressure for people to join in.
Also, shoutout to whoever mentioned Later for scheduling—I’ve been meaning to try it, and this feels like the perfect excuse.
Quick Q though: For the “Behind the Filter” challenge, did you guys get any negative comments about the unfiltered pics? I’m kinda nervous about that part but also love the idea of keeping it real.
Thanks again, y’all are the best! 💕
