Hey everyone,
So I’ve been on the hunt for some solid live proxy services lately, but man, it’s kinda overwhelming with all the options out there. Anyone got any recs for reliable live proxy providers?
I’m looking for something that’s fast, doesn’t drop connections every 5 mins, and ideally has decent geo options. Also, if it’s not crazy expensive, that’d be a huge plus lol.
Oh, and if you’ve had any bad experiences with certain live proxy services, feel free to warn me too. Don’t wanna waste time or money on something that’s gonna flake out.
Thanks in advance! 🙏
Hey! I’ve been using Bright Data for live proxy services for a while now, and it’s been pretty solid. Their geo options are great, and I haven’t had any major connection drops. It’s not the cheapest, but the reliability makes it worth it imo.
If you’re looking for something more budget-friendly, Oxylabs is another good option. They’ve got decent speeds and a wide range of locations. Just avoid the super cheap ones—learned that the hard way lol.
I feel you on the overwhelm! I tried a bunch of live proxy services last year, and honestly, most of them were hit or miss.
Smartproxy worked well for me—fast, stable, and decent pricing. Their customer support is also pretty responsive if you run into issues.
On the flip side, I’d avoid Proxy-Cheap. Sounds like a steal, but the connections were super unreliable. Hope this helps!
Yo, if you’re looking for live proxy services, check out GeoSurf. They’ve got a ton of geo options, and the speeds are legit. I’ve been using them for scraping, and it’s been smooth sailing.
Also, if you’re into testing, some providers like Luminati (now Bright Data) offer free trials. Worth a shot before committing.
Honestly, I’ve had mixed experiences with live proxy services. Some are great, others… not so much.
I’d recommend trying out Soax. They’ve got a good balance of speed and reliability, and their geo coverage is solid. Plus, their pricing is pretty transparent, which is a nice change from some of the sketchier providers out there.
Hey! I’ve been in the same boat, and after testing a few, I settled on NetNut. Their live proxy network is super fast, and I’ve had zero issues with drops.
They’re a bit pricier, but if you need consistent performance, it’s worth it. Also, their dashboard is super easy to use, which is a bonus.
Wow, thanks for all the suggestions, everyone! I think I’m gonna start with Bright Data and maybe give Soax a try too. The free trial idea is clutch—definitely gonna test a few before committing.
Quick question though: anyone know if these live proxy services work well for streaming geo-blocked content? Or is that a whole different ballgame? Thanks again, y’all are the best!
If you’re still looking, I’d suggest checking out Storm Proxies. They’re not as well-known, but their live proxy service is surprisingly good. Speeds are fast, and they’ve got a decent range of locations.
Also, their pricing is pretty reasonable compared to some of the bigger names. Just my two cents!
