Lol, half these tools are just glorified ping tests.

If you want accuracy, use ProxyFire.

It’s old-school but scans SOCKS proxies properly, even checks anonymity.

Downside? UI looks like it’s from 2005.

Man, I feel you.

I use a combo of Angry IP Scanner (for port checks) and then validate with curl.

Not the fastest, but at least you know it’s not lying.

For bulk, maybe try ScraperAPI’s proxy tester—it’s meant for scraping but works for SOCKS too.
