Selenium vs Cypress: Which Testing Framework Should You Choose for Your Next Project?

Cypress is awesome, but it’s not perfect. The JavaScript-only thing can be limiting, and the browser support is still catching up. Selenium is more versatile, but it’s definitely more of a hassle to set up.

If you’re looking for a middle ground, maybe try WebdriverIO? It’s like Selenium but with a more modern API.

Also, if you’re into podcasts, the TestGuild podcast has some great episodes on Selenium vs Cypress.
