Hey guys, sooo I was just scrolling through Facebook like usual, and suddenly got hit with the "session expired facebook hacked" message. Like, wtf?? I tried logging back in, but it wouldn’t let me. Now I’m freaking out cuz I think someone might’ve gotten into my account.
Has this happened to anyone else? I’m not super techy, so idk what to do next. Changed my password already, but idk if that’s enough. Should I contact FB support or something?
Also, my friends are saying they got weird messages from "me" yesterday, so I’m pretty sure it’s not just a glitch. Ugh, this is such a mess. Any advice would be awesome!

Thanks so much, everyone! I followed your advice and changed my password, enabled 2FA, and checked my active sessions. Found a weird login from another country and logged it out.
I also used the FB hacked account page ( https://www.facebook.com/hacked) and it helped me secure my account. My friends reported the weird messages, so hopefully, FB will take action soon.
One question though—how do I make sure this doesn’t happen again? Is there anything else I should do besides 2FA?
