"Is There a Free Checker Proxy That Doesn’t Suck?"
Hey guys, been testing a bunch of checker proxy services lately, and man... most of the free ones are straight-up garbage. Either they’re slow as hell, or they don’t even detect IP bans properly.
Anyone found a decent *free* checker proxy that actually works? Like, one that doesn’t time out every 2 seconds or give false negatives?
Or am I just wasting my time and should cough up for a paid one?
Also, why do some of these services claim to be "reliable" but fail to spot obvious bans? Makes no sense.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys! Tried ProxyScrape and Spys.one so far—ProxyScrape was decent, but Spys.one actually caught a few bans the others missed.
Still getting timeouts though. Anyone know if tweaking the timeout settings helps? Or is that just how free checker proxies roll?

Also, some folks swear by scraping public proxies and running their own checks with Python. More work, but at least you control it.

If you’re *really* strapped for cash, try FreeProxyLists. It’s barebones, but sometimes it works. Otherwise, just bite the bullet and get a paid service. The time you save is worth it.
