"Looking for the best data select scrape software – any top recommendations?"
Hey guys, been digging around for the best data select scrape software 2024 but there’s *so* many options. Some seem overkill, others just don’t work well.
Anyone got a solid rec? Need something efficient, not crazy expensive, and preferably easy to tweak.
Heard mixed things about Octoparse, ParseHub, etc. – are they still good or is there a new favorite?
Also, if it handles JS-heavy sites, that’d be a huge plus.
Thanks in advance! 🙌
(ps. if you’ve got a horror story about one to avoid, pls share lol)
Octoparse is still solid for best data select scrape software 2024, especially if you're dealing with JS-heavy sites.
The learning curve isn’t too bad, and the cloud extraction is a lifesaver for larger jobs.
Only downside? Pricing can sneak up on you if you need advanced features.
ParseHub’s another good one, but I’ve had better luck with Octoparse for dynamic content.
If you want something lightweight and cheap, check out ScraperAPI.
It’s not a full GUI tool like Octoparse, but it handles JS rendering *really* well and you can tweak it with simple API calls.
Might be overkill if you’re just doing small projects tho.
Honestly, I switched to Bright Data last year and never looked back.
It’s pricier, but the proxy network and reliability are unmatched for best data select scrape software 2024.
Plus, their docs are *chef’s kiss* if you’re into coding your own scrapers.
Avoid Zennoposter unless you’re a masochist lol.
Clunky UI, weird bugs, and the support is nonexistent.
Stick with ParseHub or maybe try Apify if you need something more customizable.
For JS-heavy stuff, Puppeteer + Node.js is my go-to.
Not exactly "out-of-the-box" but once you get the hang of it, you can scrape *anything*.
Free and flexible, but yeah, gotta put in the coding work.
Scrapy is still king if you’re comfortable with Python.
Super fast, tons of extensions, and works great for large-scale scraping.
Not the easiest for beginners tho, so maybe pair it with Scrapy Cloud if you want less hassle.
I’ve been using Diffbot for a while now—AI-powered and handles JS like a champ.
Expensive af, but if accuracy matters, it’s worth it.
Their automatic extraction is wild good for best data select scrape software 2024.
ProWebScraper is super underrated.
No coding needed, cheap, and works on most sites.
Downside? Doesn’t handle *super* complex JS sites as well as Octoparse.
If you’re on a budget, try OutWit Hub.
Free version is decent for basic scraping, and the pro version isn’t too pricey.
Not the most powerful, but gets the job done for simple projects.
