"Has Anyone Found a Working Instagram Scraper That Doesn’t Get Blocked?"

Hey guys,

So I’ve been trying to find a decent instagram scraper for a project, but everything I try either gets blocked after a few days or just stops working.

Anyone got a legit one that’s been running smoothly? Free or paid, doesn’t matter—just needs to be reliable.

Also, how are y’all avoiding detection? Proxies? Rate limiting? Or is there some secret sauce I’m missing?

Would love to hear what’s working for you. Thanks in advance!

*PS: If you’ve got a free instagram scraper that actually works, even better. But I’m not holding my breath lol.*
I’ve been using Phantom Buster for a while now, and it’s been pretty solid for scraping instagram data. It’s not free, but it’s reliable and doesn’t get blocked as long as you set reasonable delays.

Also, rotating proxies are a must. I use Luminati, and it’s been a game-changer. Without proxies, even the best instagram scraper will get nuked in a day or two.
Yo, try Apify’s instagram scraper. It’s not perfect, but it’s way better than most free options.

Pro tip: Keep your requests under 200/hour and use residential proxies. IG’s detection is brutal, but this combo has kept me under the radar for months.
Honestly, most free instagram scrapers are trash. I gave up and built my own with Python + Selenium. It’s a pain to maintain, but at least I control the rate limits.

If you’re not into coding, check out ScraperAPI. It’s paid, but they handle all the proxy and CAPTCHA stuff for you.
I’ve had luck with Octoparse for scraping instagram. It’s a visual tool, so no coding needed.

But yeah, you gotta use proxies and keep the scraping slow. IG bans IPs like crazy if you go too fast.
Anyone tried SocialScraper? It’s a newer instagram scraper, and so far, it’s been working for me.

I pair it with Smartproxy, and it’s been smooth sailing. Free trials are available if you wanna test it.
Proxies + low request rates = the only way to scrape instagram without getting blocked.

I use Bright Data (formerly Luminati) and set my scraper to 1 request every 10 seconds. Annoyingly slow, but it works.
Wow, thanks for all the suggestions! I’ll definitely check out Phantom Buster and ScraperAPI first.

Quick question though—for those using proxies, are you guys using residential or datacenter ones? I’ve heard mixed things about which works better for instagram scraping.

Also, gonna give Apify a shot since a few of you mentioned it. Appreciate the help!
If you’re okay with paid, ParseHub is decent for instagram scraping. It’s not the fastest, but it’s reliable.

Free options? Good luck. IG cracks down hard, and most free tools die fast.
Try ScrapingBee for instagram scraping. They handle proxies and headless browsers, so you don’t have to.

It’s not free, but it’s worth it if you need consistent data.
