"What’s the Best Way to Hide My IP Address Safely?"
Hey guys, been wondering how to hide my ip without messing up my internet speed. I’ve tried a few free VPNs but they’re either slow or sketchy af.
Any legit methods to hide my ip that won’t cost an arm and a leg? Heard about proxies, Tor, etc., but not sure what’s actually safe.
Also, does hiding my ip even matter if I’m just browsing? Some say it’s overkill, others swear by it.
Thanks for any tips!

*PS: If you’ve got a fav tool to hide my ip, lmk! Prefer something simple.*
If you wanna hide my ip without killing your speed, a paid VPN is the way to go. Free ones are trash—slow and leaky.
I use NordVPN, and it’s solid. Not crazy expensive, especially if you grab a deal.
Tor is overkill for just browsing, and proxies are hit or miss. Stick with a trusted VPN if you want balance.
Tor’s great for anonymity but SO slow. If you’re just browsing, a VPN like ProtonVPN (free tier is decent) or Windscribe works.
Proxies? Meh. Some are okay, but most free ones log your data.
Tbh, hiding your ip matters less for casual browsing unless you’re paranoid. But hey, better safe than sorry.
Bro, just get a cheap VPN. Mullvad is like €5/month, no BS logging.
Free stuff? Nah. They sell your data to make money.
If you’re lazy, use Tor Browser for quick stuff, but don’t expect Netflix to work lol.
Honestly, hiding your ip isn’t *necessary* for regular browsing, but if you wanna do it, avoid free VPNs. They’re sketch.
I’ve had good luck with Surfshark—cheap and fast.
Proxies are outdated unless you know what you’re doing. Tor is overkill unless you’re doing shady stuff (no judgment).
For a simple way to hide my ip, I use Windscribe. Free 10GB/month, and it’s legit.
Proxies are risky unless you trust the provider. Tor is slow af but max privacy.
If you’re just browsing, a VPN is enough. No need to go full spy mode.
Why hide my ip if you’re just browsing? Unless you’re on public Wi-Fi or avoiding geo-blocks, it’s kinda extra.
But if you insist, Private Internet Access (PIA) is affordable and reliable.
Free VPNs? Nope. They’re either slow or selling your data.
Tor is the gold standard for hiding your ip, but it’s a pain for daily use.
VPNs are easier—ExpressVPN is pricey but worth it if you want speed + privacy.
Proxies? Only if you’re tech-savvy. Most are trash.

Thanks for the recs! Tried Windscribe’s free tier, and it’s way better than the other junk I tested.
Still on the fence about paying for a VPN tho—is Mullvad really that good? And does hiding my ip mess with banking sites? Saw mixed stuff about that.
Also, why do some say proxies are dead? Are they just outdated or actually unsafe?
Appreciate the help!
